This covers getting into MediStack, resetting a forgotten password, and adding or managing team members.
Logging in for the first time
Use the login link and credentials provided during onboarding. You will be prompted to set your own password on first sign-in.
Resetting your password
On the login screen, choose Forgot password.
Enter your email and follow the reset link sent to you.
Adding and managing users
Team members are added with a role that controls what they can see and do, including GP email access where relevant.
Clinic and pharmacy users are created by your own organisation's administrators, not by MediStack support. If you need a colleague added, changed or removed, ask one of your organisation's admin users to create the account — they can add the person's name, email and access level directly.
If you are not sure who in your organisation holds admin access, contact [email protected] and we can point you to the right colleagues.
Removing a clinician who has left
Your admin users set the clinician's account to disabled. This removes their access and takes them out of the clinician lists used for booking, tasks, consult types, prescriber selection and the clinical letter signatory list.
Clinician accounts are not deleted. Their past consults, prescriptions and clinical notes stay attached to the record, so the account remains on file for history.
Because accounts stay on file, a clinic that has been running for a while may hold a large number of disabled clinicians, including old test or duplicate entries. Those are expected and need no action once disabled.
Where the same clinician has more than one account, check which one holds their consults and prescriptions before disabling either — only the genuinely unused login should be switched off. If in doubt, contact [email protected] before making the change.
